This number is written in "Big Band" swing-style based on the traditional Spiritual "Michael, Row the Boat Ashore". It follows a slower introduction from the Flugelhorn and then really opens up. It is a lively piece which features a jazzy cornet solo in the middle. A real swinging number for band and audiences to enjoy, especially with a good kit player!
