These pieces are live performances or bandroom recordings of Iain's pieces
This is a live 'bandroom' recording which was done during a rehearsal at Bedford Town Band. It is one of Iain's more substantial works which is called Variations on Diademata and was written as a test piece for 1st or 2nd section bands. The piece is available on our Store page.
The sound samples selected here are provided for you to get a taste of what the music sounds like as they have yet to be commercially recorded. Although these are taken from Sibelius files, we have recently invested in NotePerformer3 which gives the piece a much better sense of realisim, as brass sounds are usually found wanting in score writer sound sets.
